MY MISSION

I am dedicated to guiding you through the journey of emotional maturity and identity formation. My core message is rooted in theology, providing a framework for discipleship that honors both your mental health and your spiritual growth. Together, we explore how faith can be the foundation for a life of purpose and transformation.

Meet Angel

Angel Ford is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), adjunct professor, and speaker specializing in emotional maturity, identity formation, and discipleship. She has worked in the mental health field since 2013 and holds two master’s degree in both Social Work and Christian Apologetics, bringing together clinical insight and theological depth in a way that is practical and transformative.

Angel is the founder of Steadfast Wellness, where she maintains her own clinical caseload while mentoring and equipping other therapists to confidently build and lead their own private practices. Her work centers on helping people untangle distorted expectations, shame, and emotional confusion so they can experience genuine growth, and not just behavior modification.

With a background in church leadership as a youth pastor, engagement director, and teaching team member, Angel communicates as both a clinician and a disciple maker. She helps individuals and leaders recognize false narratives, reinterpret their internal world, identify dysfunctional patterns, and move toward intentional, sustainable maturity.

As a speaker, Angel brings a psychologically informed and spiritually grounded approach to topics like emotional health, identity, shame, expectations, communication, and freedom from performative living. She tailors her message for both church audiences and leadership environments, challenging people to move beyond surface level change into deep, lasting transformation.

When she’s not speaking, teaching, or working with clients and clinicians, Angel is usually spending time with her husband, children, and investing in her community.

I help individuals and leaders recognize false narratives, reinterpret their internal world, identify dysfunctional patterns, and move toward intentional, sustainable maturity.
